NCC Education launches NEW Scholarship exclusively for Myanmar
NCC Education is pleased to announce two IDCS scholarships exclusively for the Myanmar market. The IDCS scholarships are merit based and open to students who have achieved four or more distinctions in their Grade 11 exams.
The scholarship applies to students who are registering for the December 2010 exam cycle and is the equivalent value of the NCC Education exam fee for the International Diploma in Computer Studies (IDCS) programme.
The IDCS programme is the equivalent to year one of a three year UK honours degree and provides students a broad introduction to IT.
To enter students must meet the following criteria:
- Possess 4 or more distinctions in final Grade 11 exams.
- Be registering for the December 2010 exam cycle
- Provide a 150 - 200 word answer written in English describing the main reasons they want to study the International Diploma in Computer Studies (IDCS)
Students should submit their applications to one of our Accredited Partner Centre’s no later than the 31st August 2010.

Terms and Conditions for Myanmar IDCS Competition
* Applicants for the scholarship must submit their entries direct to their Accredited PartnerCentre no later than 31st August 2010
* Entries must include all of the following details to be valid:
1. Applicants full name,
2. Applicants email address and contact telephone number
3. The centre the applicant has applied to study at
4. Proof of the applicants high school distinctions
5. A 150 – 200 word answer written in English describing the main reasons that the student wants to study the International Diploma in Computer Studies (IDCS)
* This is a merit based scholarship. It is only open to students who meet the entry requirements for the IDCS and who meet the competition entry requirements as outlined above.
* Written answers will be judged against the following criteria and scored accordingly:
1. Demonstrates understanding of the question and programme outline
2. Presents reasons clearly
3. Creativity in reasons given
4. Is within the word limit specified
5. Makes correct use of grammar, spelling and punctuation.
6. Reads clearly throughout
* Full documentation must be provided with the application to show that the entry requirements have been met. (in the format of a photocopied attachment)
* Scholarships will be awarded to two students, to the equivalent of NCC Educations proportion of the IDCS exam fee.
* Students must be registering for the IDCS December 2010 Exam Cycle
* The winner will be chosen by the NCC Education. This decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
* The deadline for all entries is 31st August 2010.
* The winner will be contacted by 7th September 2010 and details will be provided of how to claim the scholarship.
* In applying, all applicants are consenting to their details being used in future NCC Education promotional materials and being contacted by NCC Education for future promotional activity.
* This scholarship can not be used in conjunction with any other discounts, offers or promotions.
* Only one entry per student is allowed
