EDGE စနစ္ကိုသံုးဖို ့အတြက္ EDGE Modem ဆိုတာမရွိလဲရပါတယ္။ Handset ကို Modem တစ္ခုအေနနဲ ့သံုးမွာပါ။ Handset ေတာ္ေတာ္မ်ားမ်ားကေတာ့ ဒီလိုမ်ိဳးသံုးလို ့ရပါတယ္။ ကြ်န္ေတာ္ကေတာ့ Sony Ericsson PC Suite ရယ္ Sony Ericsson W595 ရယ္ကိုသံုးၿပီး လုပ္ၿပသြားမွာပါ။ ကြ်န္ေတာ္က W595 သံုးထားေပမယ့္ Sony Ericsson ထုတ္ Handset အားလံုးအတြက္ အတူတူပဲၿဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ဒီလိုသံုးတာဟာ Handset နဲ ့သံုးတာထက္ ပိုမိုေကာင္းမြန္တဲ့ connection ကိုလဲရရွိေစပါတယ္။
(၁) အရင္ဦးဆံုး Sony Ericsson PC Suite ကို Sony Ericsson website ကေန Download လုပ္ပါ။ (မိမိဖုန္းအတြက္ သက္ဆိုင္ရာ PC Suite ကိုေရြးရဦးမွာပါ။ ဒါေၾကာင့္ မတင္ေပးေတာ့တာပါ။)

(၂) Download လုပ္ထားတဲ့ File ကို Installation လုပ္ပါ။

(၃) Sony Ericsson Data Cable ကိုသံုးၿပီး ကြန္ပ်ဴတာနဲ ့ခ်ိတ္လိုက္ပါ။ ဖုန္းမွာ USB modes ဆိုၿပီးေတာ့ ေပၚလာရင္ Phone Mode ကိုေရြးလိုက္ပါ။

(၄) PC suite ကို run လုိက္ပါ။ ၿပီးရင္ Tools>Internet Connection ကိုသြားပါ။

(၅) How to connect ဆိုတဲ့ Dialog Box ေပၚလာပါလိမ့္မယ္။ OK ကိုႏွိပ္ၿပီး ပိတ္လိုက္ပါ။

(၆) အခု ပံုမွာၿပထားတဲ့ အတိုင္း ၿမင္ေတြ ့ရမွာၿဖစ္ပါတယ္။ Manage your connections ကိုႏွိပ္လိုက္ပါ။

(၇) Welcome to the Internet Connection Wizard ေပၚလာပါလိမ့္မယ္။ Next ကိုႏွိပ္ပါ။

(၈) ခုေပၚလာမွာကေတာ့ Connection ID window ပဲၿဖစ္ပါတယ္။ Name the connection ေနရာမွာ မိမိၾကိဳက္တာကို ထည့္ႏိုင္ပါတယ္။ (Default အေနနဲ ့ကေတာ့ Internet Connection ဆိုတာ ၀င္ေနမွာၿဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ကြ်န္ေတာ္ကေတာ့ EDGE လို ့ရိုက္လိုက္ပါတယ္။) ေနာက္တစ္ဆင့္အေနနဲ ့ Country/Region နဲ ့Service provider တို ့ကို <Other> လို ့ထားေပးပါ။ ၿပီးရင္ေတာ့ Next ကိုႏွိပ္ပါ။

(၁၀) Internet Connection Wizard ေပၚလာရင္ User name နဲ ့Password ေနရာမွာ blank အတိုင္းထားၿပီး APN ေနရာမွာ mptnet လို ့ရိုက္ပါ။ ၿပီးရင္ Next ကိုႏွိပ္ပါ။
