Will iPhone 4 or 4S with GSM 850 , 900 ,1800 ,1900 Mhz work on a network in Myanmar?

Also, CDMA phone with 850 and 1900 Mhz, will it work on 450Mhz CDMA network in Myanmar?

I am not a tech savvy and so, my question might sound dump ... nonetheless, what about CDMA 850, 1900 Mhz phone on 800Mhz network in Myanmar?

Also, if somebody is visiting Myanmar briefly (for a few months), can we just bring a GSM capable phone and buy the SIM card over there and use it? like we do in SG and Thailand and etc ... or, must we buy mobile phone line there? different ppl said diff things and I am just not clear on that ...

almost all of CDMA only phones can work but not for hibrid(CDMA+GSM) handset can't work well. ask carefully is it support 800MHZ

can we just bring a GSM capable phone and buy the SIM card over there and use it? like we do in SG and Thailand and etc ... or, must we buy mobile phone line there? different ppl said diff things and I am just not clear on that

for that . there is paid phone or card phone... like 10000 ks/ per card
and the phone number is >10 (NOTE: i'm not saying CDMA prepaid)
i'm not sure...now is that still supported in here

No, iPhone 4s can be used not only for CDMA but also for GSM.

I heard that mobile phones from China can use in Myanmar now. In the future, we can bring our GSMs to Asian Countries and some other countries like Japan.

u can buy GSM or CDMA with 500000 ks from Myanmar Post and telecommunication(MPT)
and CDMA is worth about 750000 at market
first buy GSM or CDMA SIM card with 500000 ks
next buy handset
next buy prepaid phone card they are sold in 2 kinds (10000 ks card and 30000 ks card)
1 min call = 50 ks
1 msg = 25 ks
1 min internet= 4 ks
(Note: u can buy internet line with 30000 ks in addition)


btw, ko htet naing , isn't it CDMA???
coz korea and htailand mostly use CDMA ..
i don't know exactly though

For iPhone 4S, I am certain that it has both GSM and CDMA capabilities ... coz Apple is releasing Unlocked iPhones for international use ... they are around 645 USD ...

I heard people from other countries can loan hand phones (botn SIM & Handset)at the airport if you wish. You have to pay loan fee for that.

Can someone tell me what SIM card exactly is for CDMA phone in Myanmar? Is it like a card which can be inserted to your cell or just a bunch of numbers that you need to punch in to make your cell in function?
