ghost ရိုက်တယ်ဆိုတာ Disk to Disk clone လုပ်တာလို့လည်း ခေါ်ပါတယ်။ ကျနော်တော့ မလုပ်ဖူးပါ။ လွယ်တော့ လွယ်တယ်။ မြင်ဖူးလို့ သိတယ်။

အခြေအနေအားဖြင့် အမျိုးမျိုးရှိနိုင်ပါတယ်။
အောက်မှာတော့ Norton Ghost 2003 နဲ့ Ghost လုပ်တဲ့နည်းပါ။ (စိတ်ညစ်စရာ အကြီးကြီး ကြုံနေလို့ ဘာသာမပြန်ပေးတော့ဘူးနော်။)

You want to use Ghost to copy one disk to another disk on the same computer. You plan to use the second drive in one of the following ways:
- As the primary drive on the computer.
- As the primary drive on a different computer.
- As a backup of the first drive. You plan to remove the second drive from the computer and keep it in storage.

Solution:
Ghost refers to this function as a Disk to Disk clone, or as cloning Disk to Disk. The disk you copy from is called the source disk, and the disk you copy to is called the destination disk or target disk. The entire contents of the source disk, including partitions and unpartitioned space, overwrite the entire contents of the destination disk.

For instructions on performing a Disk to Disk clone using a DOS boot disk, refer to the document How to perform a Disk to Disk clone.

CAUTION: Do not start the computer after cloning until the instructions say to do so. Starting a computer from the hard drive when the computer has two Active partitions can damage program installations and trigger configuration changes that you might not be able to reverse without restoring backups.

To perform a Disk to Disk clone:

1. Turn off the computer.
2. Physically install the destination disk to the computer. This might require adjusting jumpers, updating the computer's BIOS, or both. For more detail, consult your computer or hard drive documentation, or consult the computer or hard drive manufacturer.
3. Restart the computer.
NOTE: You do not need to create partitions on the destination disk. Ghost will create partitions during the cloning process.
4. Ensure that all applications on your computer are closed before you run the clone operation.
5. Run Ghost to clone the drive:
1. In the Ghost Advanced window, click Clone, and then click Next.
2. In the Clone Wizard window, click a disk to select it as the source for the clone operation.
3. In the right pane, click a disk to select it as the destination for the clone operation.
CAUTION: The destination disk or partition is completely overwritten with no chance of recovering any data.
4. Click Next.
5. The Overwrite partition warning dialog box appears if you are overwriting any of the following:
* The current Windows partition
* The Ghost installation
6. Click Next to continue.
7. If this is the first time that you used Norton Ghost on this computer, in the Add Ghost Disk Identification dialog box, identify the disk. If you have previously used Norton Ghost on this computer, then this dialog box does not appear.
8. If you want to set advanced settings for the clone, then click Advanced Settings.
9. Click Next.
10. In the Important Information dialog box, if you do not want to view this warning again, click Don't show this screen again, and then click Next.
11. Click Run Now to start the clone operation. Your computer is restarted and the destination hard disk or partition is cloned from the source hard disk or partition.
CAUTION: When the process has completed, do not restart the computer.
6. After the cloning operation is complete, turn off the computer.
CAUTION: Do not restart the computer yet. Booting from the hard drives at this time can damage program installations and trigger configuration changes that you might not be able to reverse without restoring backups.
7. Finish the process:
* If you want to keep both drives in the computer, you want the destination drive to be the primary drive, and you want the source drive to be the secondary drive:
1. Adjust the physical configuration:
1. Remove the source drive from the computer. The computer now has only the destination drive.
2. Physically adjust the destination drive so that it is now the first physical drive on the computer. This might require switching jumpers or attaching the destination drive at a different location. If the computer's BIOS is not set to "auto" for drive detection, or you are moving a drive to a different channel, you might also need to update the computer's BIOS.
2. Test the configuration:
1. Restart the computer. This tests whether the computer will boot from the destination drive.
2. Make sure that your applications work normally. That is, make sure each application program loads normally, and can locate it's data files without errors.
3. Configure the source drive:
1. Turn off the computer.
2. Install the source drive to the computer in such a way that the source drive is now the second physical drive on the computer.
CAUTION: Do not start the computer into Windows at this time.
3. Start the computer from a Ghost boot disk.
4. Run Gdisk to either reformat the existing partitions, or to delete the existing partitions and then create and format new partitions. Note that the source drive is now designated as drive 2.
4. Remove the bootable floppy disk and start the computer. The computer will load Windows from the destination drive.
NOTE: In some instances, Windows might reassign the drive letters for any partition that is not the Active bootable partition. If it does, applications might look for files on the wrong partition. If this happens, you might need to change drive letters, or move the contents of one or more partitions from the destination drive to an empty partition on the source drive. If you move the contents of a partition, use the empty partition that now has the drive letter that previously had the files. For instance, if data was located on drive D before you cloned the drive, Windows might reassign drive letters so that the data drive is now drive E, and the empty primary partition on the source drive is now drive D. If so, move the contents of the data drive from drive E to drive D.
* If you want to move the destination drive to a different computer:
1. Remove the destination drive from the computer and install it to the second computer.
2. Restart the first computer.
* If you want the destination drive to be a backup of the source drive:
1. Remove the destination drive from the computer and store it in a safe location.
2. Restart the first computer.

How to perform a disk-to-disk clone

Question/Issue:

2. Boot the computer using the Ghost bootable floppy disk. This automatically starts Ghost.
   
3. Click OK when the Ghost screen appears.
   
4. On the Ghost main menu, do one of the following:
   
   
   
   • Local: Click Local > Disk > To Disk.
     
   • Peer-to-peer connection: Click Peer to peer > Disk > To Disk.
     

In the Source Drive dialog box, select the source disk.
The Source Drive dialog box shows the details of every disk that Ghost.exe finds on the local computer.
In the Destination Drive dialog box, select the destination disk.
Choose carefully as this is the disk that will be overwritten.
If a peer-to-peer connection method is used, the destination disk can be any of the slave computer's disks. However, if this is a local disk-to-disk copy, then the source disk is unavailable for selection.
Click OK.
When the "Proceed with disk clone?" prompt appears, do one of the following:

• Click Yes to proceed with the disk cloning.
  The system performs an integrity check of the file structure on the
  source disk, and then copies the source disk to the destination. If you
  need to abort the process press Ctrl C, but be aware that this leaves
  the destination disk in an unknown state.
  Ghost now copies the source disk to the destination disk. When done,
  Ghost displays a window that indicates the process has finished.
  
• Click No to return to the menu.
  WARNING: Only click Yes if you are sure that you want to proceed. The destination disk is overwritten with no chance of recovering any data.
  

Click OK. This returns Ghost to the Ghost main menu.
Click Quit.
WARNING: Do not shut down or restart the computer at this time.</li>Remove the floppy disk and turn off the computer.
Physically remove the source or destination drive from the computer, and then restart the computer. The hard drive that was removed can then be installed on another computer, as long as the other computer does not already have another hard drive installed as the Primary Active drive.
Restart the second computer and ensure that the second hard drive boots up correctly.

windows reset လုပ်ပီး သူဘာသာသူ dos mode ကို သွားပီး image ရိုက်သွားလိမ့်မယ်။
ဒါကတော့ အလွယ်ဆုံးပဲ။ ghost နဲ့က လုပ်ဖူးတဲ့သူတစ်ယောက် ဘေးနားကနေ ပြောပေးမှ ကောင်းမယ်နော်။
စာနဲ့အဆင့်ဆင့်သွားတယ်ဆိုတာ အပြင်မှာကျခက်နေမယ်။
